I've had my Peugeot 508 for about three years now and I absolutely love the design and the way it drives, but I've got to say I'm finding the paint a bit of a challenge to keep looking good. The colour is this gorgeous deep metallic grey that looks incredible when it's clean and the light hits it right, but it seems to show every single mark and imperfection. I'm really careful with my washing routine, I use quality products and clean microfibres, but I've still ended up with what looks like more swirl marks than I'd expect on a car that's relatively new. I've heard that French cars can have softer clear coats that are more prone to marring, and I'm starting to wonder if I need to change my approach to caring for the paint. I've been thinking about getting a professional detail done to correct the swirls and then apply some proper protection, maybe a ceramic coating or at least a high quality sealant that'll give the clear coat some extra durability. I work in the industrial area so I'm hoping to find a place that offers expert Peugeot detailing in Mussafah because I figure someone who knows these cars would understand the specific paint characteristics and can recommend the right approach. Has anyone here with a Peugeot had paint correction done and felt like it made a real difference in keeping the paint looking good long term? I'd really appreciate some advice before I commit to spending the money.
