Is premium tint really worth the extra cost over the regular stuff?
Is premium tint really worth the extra cost over the regular stuff?

I'm finally getting around to tinting my new car and I'm honestly overwhelmed by all the options out there, every place I call seems to offer like five different levels of tint with prices ranging from cheap to eye-wateringly expensive, and I have no idea which one is actually the right choice for me. I've always just gone with whatever mid-range option the shop recommended in the past, but I've heard people say that the premium films have way better heat rejection and UV protection, which sounds appealing because we all know how brutal the sun is here. The thing is, I'm not sure if the difference in performance is actually noticeable in real world driving or if it's one of those things where the sales pitch sounds great but you can't really tell the difference once it's installed. I don't want to pay triple the price for something that only gives me a marginal improvement, but I also don't want to cheap out and end up with tint that bubbles or fades after a couple of years. I've been doing some research and trying to find a place that offers premium window tinting in Musaffah because I work nearby and it would be convenient to drop the car off. Has anyone here upgraded from standard to premium tint and actually noticed a real difference in cabin temperature or UV protection? I'd love some honest feedback before I make a decision because I keep going back and forth and it's driving me crazy.
